Membership
The WCCBP includes personal, institutional, and corporate members. Personal dues are $100 per year and are paid to the main office. Emeritus members are exempt but must pay dues if they attend the yearly meeting. Corporate dues are $5,000. All members receive the society newsletter and enjoy free admission to the annual meeting. Applicants must be sponsored, in writing, by at least 2 current members and 5 copies of a curriculum vita must support the application form. Applications should be submitted to the Chair of the Credentials Committee.


There are 4 classes of personal membership:

SCIENTIFIC ASSOCIATE: MEMBER:
Promising contributors to the field of Biological Psychiatry. An MD, PhD, or PharmD degree is required. Have demonstrated independent investigative & teaching skills and have made worthy contributions to the field.
  
FELLOW: EMERITUS:
Have not less than 3 years standing as members and have made worthy contributions to the field. Have not less than 10 years standing as full members, are currently inactive, and have made worthy contributions to the society.
